Teaching Yoga at Wellwood Center

For a couple of months, I have been volunteering as a yoga instructor at Wellwood Center, Hamilton. This is a place where cancer patients and survivors can access yoga services (among others such as Tai Chi) to stay relaxed and grounded . It is a tremendous learning experience to  interact with brave people who have gone through a lot in life and still walk into the room with a smile on their face.

I hope to continue to do my part in making these wonderful people comfortable, relaxed and grounded when they come to the center.

From Paul C. Fitness Trainer, Hamilton

Hi  Dr  Singh,
It has been  half  dozen  a teachers  since  I attended your program ‘The Healing Voyage’  but  the  manual  we  were  given  is  still  one  of  my  most  valued  resources  and it has  helped  me  in  helping  others now.

The  close  to  40  years  of  hard  core  extreme  training  continued  to  eventually put me  on  disability. However, yoga and meditation  has  made  me  a  better  person  as  well  as  worked  part  of  my  disability (double  crush  syndrome)  so  well  that I  didn’t  need critical  neck  surgery  for  a  disc  replacement  in  my  neck, that  I  was  on  a waiting  list. My  circulation  has  probably  worked  back  to  90%  of  what  it   was  and  this  was  done  using  inverted  modifications  along  with  at  least  90  minutes  of  asanas , meditation and pranayama.
